November 1st were happy to welcome Emil Herskind to Oxford Research in Denmark.
Emil has close to 20 years of experience from government offices, recently in key positions in the Ministries for Education, Youth and Social Affairs. His latest position was as Head of Department in the Ministry for Social and Home Affairs.
Emil left his latest position because he is a strong believer in a holistic approach to welfare issues – an approach which is difficult to apply in the central administration. Emil’s focus is very aligned with where Oxford Research is going: adding implementation/facilitation to evaluations and analysis in the various thematic areas.
Emil, Jakob Stoumann and Rikke Lynge Storgaard will be the new leadership team: Emil, as CEO, will be focusing on developing a more holistic approach to how we serve our clients.
Jakob Stoumann, as Director, will be focusing on both industry & regional development and on what Oxford Research Denmark can do to respond to the increased demand from international projects. We, as a group, have been successful in getting on more Framework contracts and now the bottleneck is our ability to respond to the wave of specific requests for proposals – many actually quite relevant – that we see at present. Rikke Lynge Storgaard, also as Director, will focus on welfare but also on Health where we have gained a bit of a stronghold recently that we need to figure out how to leverage.
